I am a Year 6 student at Pt England School in Auckland, NZ. My teachers are Miss Szymanik, Mr Goodwin, and Miss Parrant.
We are using adverbs to begin two sentences about The Duffy Show.
An adverb describes the way that we are doing something.
Excitedly we were sitting nice waiting for the Duffy show.
Loudly Duffy opened the basket and the snake came out.
Good boy finishing your work on your own today Giovanni.Read your first sentence - do you think that it makes sense? I don't think that you need the word "nice". If you do use the word "nice" then you need to change it a little - what do you think?
